What We've Done

Our PTA invests a great deal of time and resources into the school and each year we tackle projects that would otherwise not be funded or made possible by the district. We aim for our efforts to benefit all MacArthur students. Some of our projects include:
 

• Funding field trips for all MacArthur students (Grades 4K-5)

  • Our students attend field trips taking them to pumpkin farms, nature preserves, the Milwaukee County Zoo, the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and more amazing places that help to pair with learning done in the classroom.

  • Have added trips to Madison (Grade 4) & Chicago (Grade 5) as well as a day camp, fun bonding experience (Grade 5)​

• Funding the purchase of SMART Boards for all classrooms​

• Newly painted gym

• Replaced gym backboards and added a climbing rock wall

• Replaced outdoor basketball hoops

• New playground equipment

• Added Gaga ball pits

• Built playground storage shed

• Added water fountain water purifiers and bottle filling stations

• So much, much more to come!!
